About Us

Dyson Building Center originated as a saw mill and in 1954 began supplying St. Mary's County and Southern Maryland with lumber, building materials, supplies, hardware, and tools.   We supply the St. Mary's County builder, contractor and homeowner with all the lumber, building material, hand tools, rental tools and supplies needed for the job at hand.  We cater to the “DIY” or do-it-yourselfer. We are also an Orgill Dealer, so we can get anything you see here even if we do not currently stock it.

We provide lumber, building materials, supplies, hardware, and tools to following communities: Great Mills, Leonardtown, Lexington Park, Charlotte Hall, California, Mechanicsville, Wildewood, Hughesville, Hollywood and all of St. Marys County, MD.
